Harbaugh totally confuses me

Why would he trust his firsthand knowledge of Speight, the other QBs on the roster, and his consistent track record as a head coach when he puts Speight in as the starter? Why wouldn't he listen to the angry reactions of posters who have never seen a minute of practice? So weird...
