I've had some time to stew over the loss to MSU. I'm still recovering from it. Some of my Sparty buddies predicted a 48-10 UM win. Anyways, here goes.
1. No energy from the team and coaching staff at all. It was very puzzling. No home field advantage for teams, but that shouldn't be an excuse.
2. Ambry and Nico are huge losses as I expected. Both should be playing. Something is wrong with the football program culture.
3. We had a chance for 3 wins in a row against them and now they have some energy back in the rivalry.
4. Beating a dead horse, but the wildcat call (two plays in a row) was not good.
5. It's time to move on from JH. He's 1-6 in rivalry games at home. Only 3-3 against MSU. 0-5 against OSU.
6. I have my doubts that Warde will let JH go. I think it will be a retirement situation.
7. We also need to be careful about who replaces JH (that is the risk). Exhibit A---Texas since Mack Brown (Vodka Tom--yikes) and USC post Carroll
