Right now there is no guarantee that this year's recruiting class will grow to 25, but it seems like the coaches think that it might. So here is my latest best guess for the 2016 class. It's pretty optimistic but I did my best to keep it realistic (e.g. I'd love to sign a WR like Eli Stove, Tre Nixon, or Steffon McKnight but they don't seem realistic so they aren't on the list). Obviously we won't sign all of these players, but I think he have a good shot with each one of them individually. Who do you guys think end up in this year's recruiting class?
There would be plenty of speed and skill on the defensive side of the ball. 4 DEs may seem like a lot, but we don't have much depth at the position. Adding 4 players would allow 2 to play right away and 2 to redshirt. Some folks might question having Josh King on this list, but he's visited a few times and has stated that he wants to stay in the midwest. He's not going to end his recruitment anytime soon and I think if we see a pretty significant turnaround Harbaugh and the staff could position themselves well to secure King's commitment. I'm also have a good feeling about Kelly. I can't tell you why, but I think he ends up in the class. He and Gary could join Peppers to form an elite defense in two seasons.
