I get it --- Pittsburgh fans are happy about this. This particular Pittsburgh fan is REALLY happy about this, he's spreading the news to other fanbases!

But I'm not yet seeing this as a big indictment on the program --- these things do occasionally happen. FWIW, 2 USC players are sitting out because they violated their team rules.

Just drove past the RB this evening on the way back from up north. I have been to every UM Rose Bowl game since 83 (AC?). My point is that it's been a long long time. Too long if you ask me .

Onto PSU...got to enforce those team rules. A coach will lose their program once the inmates feel they can game the system for a big game.

I thought UM has handled the Perry situation pretty well. Kids need to know there will be consequences. In fact...everyone needs to be held accountable.

The one certainty about Bowl games is that there are gonna be players sitting due to screwing up. Been that way as long as I can remember. No real reflection upon a program IMO.
