This is not a post criticizing the man, but rather wondering about the fit. His background of working mainly with spread offenses seems not to jive with our offensive personnel and two-TE/power running approach. I went back to an article from the Freep (forgive me, it came up when I googled Greg Frey), where he basically all but admitted that his background was different than the offensive approach of Harbaugh.
First, wondering why Harbs hired someone with a spread background. Second, wonder if our o-line will ever improve with this mismatch. Third, wondering if I'm way off base, as I have never been a football coach, just an avid football watching fan for 40 years....:-/
