I was in WL yesterday. My daughter’s sorority had dad’s day so I hung out with my oldest kid and went to o$u game. I sat behind o$u bench in 11th row at about 37 yard line. Some observations.
1) story about UL taking pills during game is 100% correct.
2) the team had no fire, no leadership. It was like they were playing IM flag football
3) they were soft as mush. The D doesn’t tackle. The O doesn’t run the ball. Everyone says that they can’t run. I think it is more that they won’t run the ball.
4) UL paced up and down the sideline and did little else. He was rarely in the huddle during the lengthy and frequent media time outs. He rarely spoke with anyone and often had his headset in his hands. The assistants seem to make all of the decisions. Has UL checked out?
5) Purdue can play. Especially on O. They had little pass rush and the CB’s gave too much of a cushion. Fortunately, o$u shot them selves in the foot over and over.
6) it is hard for to believe that UL will be around next year.
7) after UM removed spartina’s manhood and stomped on it in front of Dantoni combined with Purdue doing the same to o$u; what a day.
