Two things,
One, the 5* question:
While UM does not lead for any 5*s, I think if UM is in the top 5-6 discussion for the playoff spots going into mid-November again this fall, I think we could get some visits and interest that are not there currently.
Throw on top of that the fact, I f that happens, i think it will be something where you just can not discount the effect of JH and his staff in person. They blow kids away and can turn a kid around in a day if they can get the faceTime.
Let's not forget we all had written off Solomon last year as late as January. Things change when acted upon by an outside force and Harbaugh is the greatest force of change in college football.
