Good week to rest Speight and go with another QB?

Appreciate your opinion SJB3.........have faith Harbaugh will make the proper decision on this one.

Thanks Doc. I have total confidence in the Jackhammer to make the proper decision. He just announced it will be a game time decision on Speight.

It is my opinion that if he's that tender, it would be better to rest him this week, get a backup max reps to be best prepared for The Game. Playing Speight this weekend would pose a big risk of getting further injured, and we'll be worse off against TUOS.

Wasn't against Colorado that Speight first hurt his shoulder? Maybe it's something he can recover from quickly like he did after the CU game. Then again, the IU game would be a great setting to see how well O'Korn does through a full game.

Moving Peppers to full-time QB..running the spread the rest of the way. This was the plan for O$U anyway, just moved the timetable up a week!

Well...the only question going forward is can UM win with O'Korn against Indiana and OSU.

Can they...definitely against IU. Against OSU...probably not but again having an experienced guy with a practice game against IU will give UM at least a punchers chance. I would say it won't have a happy ending but it is what it is.

If Speight's shoulder is as tender as I suspect it is, I think he should sit out and get a backup ready to go ... have to be ready for The Game as we can be ... don't want to wait to bring someone new in during the heat of that battle!

Rest him if need be . For sure don't play him if injured. BUT this game comes down to a defensive / Spe. Teams game. Forget the point spread and hope we can get into the end zone running the ball ,and with a few JOK 3 step ,and boot passes to the RBs, slot and TEs Then Wildcat with Peppers. "74

Ummmmm, no. With this offensive line, no. Butt is a receiver, not even an option as a blocker. No.....
