1. An obvious statement, but the offense lacks any type of identity. Not sure where the tightends are in the passing game. It use to be a staple of Jim's offense, but they were rarely seen today.
2. The right side of the oline is really average/below average. It's hard to believe that Ulizio is the best they have at right tackle. There appears too many times where he is chasing the guy who just ran by him on passing plays.
3. Isaac really needs to understand down and distance. On third and short, he needs to understand that the best option is to put your head down and get the tough yards rather than always trying to bounce it outside.
4. Don't know what happened to Evans, but he doesn't look anything like he did last year. Speaking of the runningbacks, wish UM had someone who was a bit more explosive/quicker at hitting the holes. There appears to be a few too many times where a big gain is eliminated because they are a step slow at hitting the hole.
5. Thought the Air Force defense thoroughly confused Harbaugh and the offense. It was almost as if they weren't sure how to attack it.
6. Speight isn't seeing the field very well (see the 3rd and 5 play where Ty Isaac was wide open in the flat and speight through it to Black where it was almost picked off), but the play calling is really, really poor. I wonder how much is Harbaugh, how much is Drevno, and how much is Pep.
7. The defense is really, really good. I hope UM can get the offense figured out real soon to take advantage of it.
