Let's see how this goes. Okay, 9am start for me so will once again be bacon and cheddar egg mcmuffins using homemade sourdough english muffins. i have found these are best with large slathers of butter on both sides of muffin. i also like my eggs fried with the yolk semi fluid in this application. usually i want fully runny yolk but for sandwich just want enough yolk to be only somewhat messy when it blends with the melted butter.

probably two french presses will be consumed by the end of the game

tomorrow afternoon will fire up the kamado grill some butterflied birds peri peri style. for the marinade will make a paste of roasted jalapenos, tomatos and onion, olive oil, paprika, tons of fresh garlic and lemon juice. want it really oily. marinade the birds all morning/early afternoon while reserving marinade as both for brushing the birds with the oil near the end of the bbq. after marinating the birds will add in cilantro and whack it again for the side sauce of reserved marinade.

probably do a lemon-yogurt sauce for a cooling dip and dip for the sweet potato wedges, grilled sourdough flatbread to sop up sauce/yogurt and always a green salad to wash it all down.

nothing fancy on snacks between the meals- probably just chips and salsa, olives and cheese, and maybe beer, maybe cider (hard), probably both.

probably wine with dinner

what about you all on what appears to be a perfect fall Saturday tomorrow?
