What a glorious day for some football! Sun kept us warm, minimal green to keep the place classy, and a blowout over one of the worst leaders of young men to ever walk the sideline.

However, in spite of there being very few Spartan fans in attendance, I was overrun by every kind of Sparty imaginable in my section that I must thank for the entertainment...

1) Sparty students. The 2 princess co-eds who sat down next to me just as State scored first and proclaimed that they must be good luck while taking 17 selfies. They told me it's only fair that they get to win this one since they've had such a bad season and that Michigan won last year. It was tough to break it to them that football doesn't work that way. They left at halftime because it was too cold and they knew they weren't going to be able to rub a win in my face to make up for their horrible life decision.

2) The color commentator. Sparty behind me proclaimed he was a high school football coach about 38 times and proceeded to grace us with his analysis of every single play. I think he even critiqued Dantonios pregame dump. He didn't seem to catch on when I told him it was great to have him there to help us out with our understanding of the game. Again, he stopped talking in the second half and left early.

3) Drunk Sparty. Spartan Dairy Sparty decided he was going to stand up and celebrate every time MSU gained a yard. And then stare down every Michigan fan telling him to sit the f*** down as if he was going to take on the entire section. He didn't make it past the 2nd quarter before getting tossed.

4) The now popular Historic Sparty. The guy in front of me who sat fuming and mouthed off about Dantonios record against Michigan as if this series began in 2008. Love Sparties who hate us for talking about the past and then conveniently only want to talk about the past during an ass whooping. I told him I hoped Marky stayed another decade so that all can be corrected.

It was a fun day and I had plenty of peace and space around me in the 2nd half. I applaud the Spartan fans who braved it this year knowing what was coming. It shows true loyalty unlike the band-wagoneers we've seen make the trip in past years. Those are the cowards who proclaim that it's basketball season and the ones who will show up only when they think they can win. What a crappy fan base. Enjoy the next decade of irrelevance.
