I tweeted this out yesterday and it was received with some confusion and some people asking me to clarify which, at the time, I could not.
Now I can.
Garcia worked out for the Michigan coaches last week and they really liked him. He's been very productive in high school for an extremely successful program in Southern Columbia. With that said, he is committing to Michigan as a wrestler and will not be on scholarship for the football team unless he plays in a game or the staff chooses to issue him one.
In other words, he's a highly capable preferred walk on/practice body. He'll have a chance to contribute in practice and obviously could make his way to the field if he surpasses expectations.
