I saw Joe Milton one full game today and about a half of two others in the National 7v7 at IMG Academy today.
I shot a video interview with him and I will post that early next week, hopefully Monday. I am just trying to drop off notes on numerous message boards the rest of tonight, then back out at the double elimination tourney today. Saturday was pool play.
On him as a player TODAY: He was up and down passing the ball. Some passes sailed high on him, he played with a lot of new guys, so his timing was not great and he struggled some as a passer. he did flash some arm strength, but he just needs to clean up his mechanics. He has a big loop in his delivery and kind of slings it from the side at times. It was my first time seeing him live and he is impressive (very impressive) on the hoof and he has a big arm, so it will be fun to watch him grow and develop as a passer in Ann Arbor.
On his recruitment: He told me he does not plan to visit to any other schools at this time, so that sounds VERY good for Michigan. Again, I will post the full update asap.
