Educate me on why power 5 conference teams don't run the triple option - not saying Alabama or Michigan who can get the best of the best, but say Purdue or Indiana, a middle of the pack team - they can get a better quality athlete over the usual teams that run it and in theory do it better? It's not the most appealing offense to be recruited to, but there's enough good players out there to be into the system - if anything it keeps your defense fresher, because in theory you're running clock and moving the ball on the ground
