opening possession, UM did what everyone expected them to do. In order to keep some momentum though they should have kept their foot on the gas.

Oh yea, and in the last 120 minutes of football between UM and MSU, UM has led for about 117 of those minutes. Two straight years of total game control which will easily continue again next year in A2.

Definitely will continue while JH is in A2.
The mentality that he's hammered into his players is completely opposite of the Hoke era mentality .
Yesterday wasn't there best showing of the year, but they're bound to have a game or two like this where things don't go completely like we think they should, from a fan's POV.
But UM did control the game for the majority of play like you said and I don't see that changing anytime soon either.

Let's put it a different way, when UM has competency on the sideline (e.g. Lloyd and Harbaugh) UM is 2-1 vs Dantonio with a miracle loss to him.

It's not quite that many - we didn't take the lead until the early second quarter yesterday, and were tied for part of last year's first half. But it's true that MSU has only had the lead for about 3 minutes in the last two games combined. And we've never trailed in the second half.

True. What I like best about Harbaugh is the unbelievable balance of a business like approach he has instilled while still allowing his players to have fun. Remember when everyone said Harbaugh would never have let Norfleet dance during that night PSU game? Well, Peppers has done that several times while back on punt returns, even while back on defense during timeouts. Funny how nobody complains about that now.

Regardless, you can tell these guys are having fun but boy do they mean business, in every way, including player and coach descriptions of practice.
