Almost everyone is nursing an injury of some sort during a season. They play through injuries that are more than nagging. How many guys are helped or limp off the field in every game? So I will never second guess a young player who protects his career and earning potential by sitting out a bowl game that is not part of the play-off. If we honestly put ourselves in Higdon's shoes, for example, none of can say that we would risk our family's security for the Peach Bowl. He's a Michigan man in my eyes either way. I'm just a fan who wants the best for every Michigan player.
