Just to give you guys a head's up....I'm down in Florida during Michigan's bye week in order to see a bunch of things around U-M's recruiting efforts.
As I type I'm sitting at Berkeley Academy in Tampa after talking to four-star offensive tackle Nick Petit-Frere. After I catch a couple minutes of practice I'm headed over to Plant to check on 2019 four-star guard Will Putnam. Then I'll be hitting the road...
I'll pull into Ft. Lauderdale pretty late tonight and then I'll be up early to catch St. Thomas Aquinas' practice at 6:30 tomorrow morning. I'll be seeing several guys there including four-star running back Daniel Carter, three-star safety Jordan Battle, four-star inside linebacker Anthony Solomon, three-star center Vincent Murphy and cornerback Jaden Davis — all offered 2019 prospects.
Then I'll head over to The University School to see 2019 studs Josh Sanguinetti (four-star cornerback) and Kenny McIntosh (four-star athlete/running back). Both are offered and both are big-time targets.
Thursday I'll stop by Cardinal Gibbons to see four-star defensive end Khris Bogle before heading back toward Tampa for a trio of games.
I'll see Sammy Faustin on Thursday, Joe Milton on Friday and Charles Thomas on Saturday. I hope to also check out a few other IMG guys on Saturday if it can be arranged. They're very accommodating at IMG but it's a game day so I'm not sure how that will work.
