I made a mistake and downloaded his "Campus Conversations" podcast thinking it was Ivan Maisel's podcast. Anyway, he was straight down the line:
- Michigan "embarrassed" Florida. His helpmate then started setting up the "we'll never know what would have happened if UF had the 10 or 12 players who were suspended" and Finebaum responded: "Look, Callway doesn't play in the line, ok? Michigan dominated the line and Callaway and Scarlett weren't going to help."
- Said that his problem with Harbaugh has never been about his ability to coach. "Harbaugh, like Saban, like Meyer, has a system for teaching football." His helpmate said that Michigan is "so good at the fundamentals it's almost boring."
- This "may be" Harbaugh's fastest defense at Michigan. I thought he was going to say it may be the fastest in CFB but those words probably would have choked coming out.
- Alluded to the "pre-season take" about Michigan not being able to replace all of that talent on defense and "that's just another take from the pre-season we can throw out" -- "Michigan is who we should have thought they were."
