The OL, would be pretty bad, but probably just as bad at this season's OL. The WRs would, if healthy be surprisingly good. RB position is deep with a nice range of skill sets (power speed). TEs are solid, when factoring Hill in. And all of these guys would have late season Rudock throwing to them.
Our ends and DTs would be absolutely dominant. LBs and Safeties would be sub par, but not terrible. CBs would be very solid (think of Clark pre injury). Viper, as we know, would be in good hands with Hudson.
The point of this post is that, even with a roster comprised only of the 3 star (and lower) players who have played for Michigan since 2012, we would not be door mats, and, in fact, could be B1G contenders.Hopefully people will peruse this roster of players and see that it's not all that rare to find 3 star players who could hold their own against anybody. That DL- especially the DTs would be the best unit in the nation.
Maybe this will help some of you sleep a bit better when looking at a 2018 class with no 5 stars, or at least be of good cheer in this, the holiday season
