Did a drive about town this weekend. I counted fire trucks from 8 states. Our house is fine but we are now finding acquaintances who either had their house hit or knows someone who did.
It is amazing what those fire fighters do. At least in Westlake/TO it should have been a lot worse. They saved a lot of homes and lives here.
Have a friend who lives at the top of Kanan. Their house is fine but they won't be able to move back for months because all the power poles burned. So no power between Westlake/TO and Malibu? Whoa. The scope of the fire is legit 15 miles by 10?
Rain is in the forecast for Wednesday and for the first time in a LONG time, I hope it passes us by.
