I am sorry this update has taken so long to post , but I just got back from my cottage in Michigan
and truthfully things have really been going slow with everything . First off again THANK YOU TO ALL of you that either donated money , clothes , sent well wishes or said prayers , as it has been a tough time as you can imagine .

The GoFundMe page raised 22,530 dollars , for the Hunt Family in Hillman . There were other local fundraisers that raised another 5,000 dollars , so total they have right around 28,000 dollars . The money has been put into an account in the bank in Hillman , with 4 people on the account and the parents do NOT have access to the money , as we wanted to make sure that the benefits they receive would not be affected . The board consists of my brother ( a retired broker from Merrill Lynch ) a retired state of Michigan employee , a retired Mortgage Banker and the Uncle of the little boy's father , who is a commercial real estate builder . My brother went to the local lumber company in Hillman , and the board decided to look into " kits " for a house . The lumber company ( Bernards is the name ) had a bunch of plans, and my brother took 2 ,one being a 1200 square foot house that was around 15-18,000 and another floor plan that was 18-20,000 dollars . The Uncle went up after that and got a couple more to look at , and that seems like the road they will take . The Uncle has lined up volunteers that will help with the construction of the place once they choose a plan .

They are currently still living in the mobile home the family friend gave them to use , and are slowly
trying to put things back together as a family . The small community has really been a huge help to them , and they have been just amazed at all the help they have been given , as they are in their mid to late 20's themselves . I am still amazed at all of you ......the kindness and generosity so many of you have shown is just incredible . I know this isn't much , but its just where they are as it is a small town , and things do move slowly . I will keep you as updated as I can . We all feel once they get a house , they can hopefully rebuild their lives with ther young daughter . IF anyone
has questions you can email me at tom.ofarrell@rbc.com ....

THANKS AND GO BLUE !
