since the 1997 season. Or to put it another way, this will be tied for the best record of any football team in the lives of most students attending Michigan. Yet the fan base is treating this season as a failure (monumental if reading this board). It seems that our collective expectations are way over the skis of what the reality of what our program is (and has been for years)
