Many of us need some perspective. Warde didn't botch anything today. This was a lose-lose press conference. I actually thought he did fine.
To those who have lost loved ones to COVID, or for other reasons...my sincerest condolences for your loss(es).

- Warde and Jim are focused on the health of our student athletes. These are someone's children, away from home, asked to entertain rabid idiots like us in a pandemic, while taking a full course load on Zoom. I'd be so nervous if my child was asked to do this, regardless of protocols.
- The lack of deal by now is DEAFENING. If Jim was going to accept the deal, it would have been done already.
- I get it, NSD is 12/16. Wah wah wah, keep crying. You don't make decisions about the next 50 years of a program over one class. Not with an unlimited 1x transfer rule. We were going to stink next year regardless. JJ is still signing, and while other pieces of the class are nice, NONE are worth signing for sacrificing getting the direction of the program right. We have our QB, let's figure out the coach.
- What happens on December 19th? Conference championships. Remember when Kirk blew the Les Miles load before the SEC title (and spare me the he wasn't on the list crap, that's not my point). This allows Michigan to keep the questions about "IF" they will retain Harbaugh, not "WHO" will replace him. If I was coaching a team playing for a title Dec 19th (COUGH COUGH, AHEM), I would sincerely appreciate this and it would make me more amicable to listening to their offer...
- It also allow Jim more time to find a soft landing or figure out if he actually wants to take the deal.
- On the OSU praise. REMINDER: ALL ADs ARE BROKE AS HELL RIGHT NOW. OSU playoff = MORE MONEY FOR EVERYONE, WHICH IS ALSO MORE MONEY FOR BUYOUTS!!!!
- Also, if we can establish a 6-0 OSU is in the playoff, despite a multitude of qualified teams out there, we further solidify that the BIG gets its Champ in EVERY year. Just like the SEC has. We want this. Besides, I watch a lot of football, and OSU is a flawed team. They could easily lose to NW. Clemson, Bama and Florida would absolutely WAX them right now.
