that Urban really screwed up by trying to further run up the score. OSU loses a ton of players including their key playmakers. UM, not too many. JH won't let that happen again and even my OSU fans acknowledge this.

We needed style points, although it likely won't matter now. Giving Wisky a horse whipping got is in last year, but I believe we are dead now with MSU destroying PSU.

Even that aside, it is going to be war between Urban and Harbaugh any way, so a little salt in the wound probably won't matter anyway. Who cares if they try to curb stomp each other, as long as it is good old fashioned classy hard-nosed football on the field.

I hear what you are saying, but it seems in this new generation of "me" first kids, not sure it really matters so much anymore ..... ??

It's nice to see you are still posting lol. I was unaware that running the ball up the gut was "running up the score." It could have been much worse.

Laser, you have to admit this was a much cleaner game than the past 6-7. I had gotten tired of the BS pushing, yapping, and fistfights. I remember games in the 80s where there were hardly any penalties and absolutely no talking or pushing.

JH is going to make sure this won't happen again? What, does he have some remaining eligibility and is going to strap on the ol' helmet and suit up again? I saw s lot of Michigan fans on here predicting a BIG victory. They said here wSn't of a talent gap. That JH was the better coach with NFL experience, etc. urban has three titles for a reason. This Ohio State team loses a lot of talent but they have a top recruiting class coming in, too. Plus next year's game is in C-bus. I wouldn't necessarily count on JH being able to beat Urban just yet.

Can we come over and play in the TP pool with you? Bags of rocks come to mind when I read your posts.

Like Harbaugh wouldn't have run up the score if he could have.

I'm just saying. OSU kicked JH when he was down. OSU loses a ton of players next season. The (I think) good news is UM returns a ton of players and a better QB (or so we're told). UM has proven it can win on the road. Even my best OSU fans -- after dumping on me all day -- acknowledge concern for 2016, just like MooU

typical bias fan perspective ignorance.... JT ran the final TD in with 8+ min to play.... score 42-13 with 8+ to play.

we're sorry that Bosa picked off a pass and ran it down inside the red-zone. what do you want???? would you have preferred Bosa drop the ball intentionally? Did you want the Buckeyes to take a knee with 3 to 4 min left in the game? on 4th & goal from the 6 yard line, would you have preferred Urban kick a chip-shot FG to go up 45-13? I'm guessing that would not have gone over well. Do you realize that on that 4th & goal from the 6 - OSU ran Zeke up the middle - very vanilla. almost conceding to turn the ball back over on downs. it's not like they tried a fake QB run - with a jump pass or some type of power sweep or misdirection, etc... what did you want them to do? what would have made you happy - and lifted your "Urban is running it up on poor coach Harbaugh" accusation?

Based on the past couple years of recruiting, not going to expect the next batch of talent to fall off very much. You recall that the title we won last year was with a roster full of unproven talent, right? Those 8-9 starters we lose have 2 capable guys waiting to fight for their spots next spring.

What do you see Jim Harbaugh doing up 42-13 if his DE picks off a back up QB and takes it to the 9 yard line with 4:24 left in the game? Do you think he takes a knee 4 times and gives the ball back?

Hell, Meyer did UM a favor by passing on first down when you consider how badly OSU gashed UM with the run game.

The biggest insult on 4th and goal would have been to kick a chip shot field goal. Instead Meyer lined up and ran it off tackle right into the meat of the UM DL. If he was trying to run it up, OSU would have scored.

Totally agree! And it was good to see, especially for we old schoolers that remember Woody/Bo, haha ... I think Urban wants a pretty clean program after life in the SEC and being back in Ohio. I am pretty confident Harbaugh is the same. I really see some good quality football/games going forward. Hoping, anyway.

Concerns about MSU? You might want to look at the depth chart. Hell, we have two QB's coming back that sat in for Cook in Columbus and came out with a win. Of course, OSU only had 132 yards of O, but MSU, and it's two backup QB's, manged close to 300 yards.

You do realize the Bucks have the top recruiting class for 2016 and 2017 right now.
Don't think Urban is afraid sorry.

PLEASE....in '09 @ Stanford Jim went for 2 when he was up 55-21 over USC

This. But remember, SC had been running up scores on the rest of the PAC for years up to that point, and King Pete certainly had it coming when Jim pulled that stunt.

The only difference is that PC would usually pull the starters once the game was no longer in doubt, and doing so would usually prevent SC from scoring again and would allow the opponent to score in garbage time.

Not your job to stop you. Leaving starters in might have been a bit risky from an injury standpoint, but that's up to Urban. I don't have a problem with trying to run it up either. Fully expected a two point try if you scored to hang 50. When (if) the shoe is on the other foot my hope is that foot is firmly on the gas pedal!

I also saw a shitload of your fans stating an nc repeat after a couple of wins in to the reg season.

Now, you're just being an idiot.

Actually most OSU fans were saying that even after a "couple" of victories, OSU needed to play more to their potential than what they were doing on the field, if they wanted to get back to the National Championship.

But your sample size of a handful is probably all it takes to form an overriding opinion.

You usually stay pretty level headed and I enjoy your posts. Why are you trending toward how some of these out of the woodwork OSU fans that stop by after a win act. There are a couple in this thread that are only here to act like idiot OSU fans. You usually don't. Hope you won't take the road some of the nuts here are.

"Bag of rocks?" Wow. That is so cryptic... so mysterious... so deep. Are your other 4,038 posts couched in such obtuse syntax?
It's fun running around the minimally educated and logically impaired. "Obtuse", rewatching Shawshank Redemotion really paid dividends for you, congrats.

I think what you meant to say was obtuse reference, obtuse syntax would refer to the grammatical structure which, while not flawless, certainly conveyed appropriate levels of contempt while using well known colloquialisms.

Yeah it was very refreshing to see the nonsense mostly gone. I noticed Harbaugh grab Elliott or Barrett after the game to congratulate him after almost walking by him. That's what I expect out of this game not middle fingers at fans or 5' 7" RBs wanting to take on the entire OSU team.

UM has a huge talent gap to make up, that takes time, but this game will be a great game again soon and I'm betting the respect level that serious fans have for it grows with it.

He threw one pass for gosh sakes. Such whiners. Get better and bring it or just accept your butts were beaten badly. Man up. Harbaugh has a ways to go. Could have run up the score by running power plays that got them 42.

I didn't think he was running it up, as LaserBuck said you're trying to position yourself if MSU loses or if there's a crazy couple weekends and OSU ends up a high level 11-1 team.

That was in response to aoi stating that a "shitload of your fans were stating a nc repeat after a couple of regular season wins". I was disputing that comment. Not an attack on Michigan or the fans base in general. If you see my posts in other threads I'm not rubbing anything in anyone's nose. The game went well for OSU and have enjoyed the run in this rivalry. But I also know It won't last forever.

They prefer to lose 42-41 or 42-28. We got our usual 42 yesterday and for whatever reason they are bothered by it.

That will have zero impact on next years game. The team who wins the battle in the trenches will walk away with the win.

The fact that "some fans" think Meyer ran up the score will have no effect on the outcome... like NONE

Yea Urban is worried, he has the number 1 class right now for 2016 and 2017. lmao!

Slept like a baby, because unlike sad, sad SINUAY, I don't worship at the foot of my college football team. Not so with you, our hand puppet for OSU, who cannot put ideas together or deal with adult arguments, so he resorts to repeating phrases he copied off of the bathroom of the truck stop outside of Columbus.
