So obviously it has Alabama at 100% chance to make the playoffs, then Clemson at 99%, and then notre dame at 98%.

Then it has ohio state at 71% (!), Oklahoma at 26%, and Georgia at 5%.

Now everyone on this board has their opinion of who should get the 4th spot, and all of the analysts and media pundits have weighed in. It seems the consensus is that it's between Oklahoma and ohio, with only the slappiest of SEC slappies trying to make a case for Georgia.

My question is this... what did ohio state do/show last night to warrant a jump over Oklahoma? And not only jump them, but to have a 71% to 26% advantage to make the playoffs? If they would call it 50/50, or somewhere in that range, I could see that. But a 45% better chance than Oklahoma? That seems crazy to me.

I did not watch the osu/Northwestern game last night, so maybe I missed something. I also understand that the "ESPN Playoff Predictor" is not the actual Playoff committee, so really they're just guessing too.

It just seems to me, if they felt that osu is the better team and yesterday's games had no bearing on how they feel about Oklahoma/ohio state, then ohio state should've been rated higher than the Sooners to begin with. Right?
