My kids go to Milford so went to playoff game tonight. All was a man amongst boys. Didn’t get targeted much as a WR/TE, threw a NASTY block on a bubble screen that sprung his teammate for a TD. He was the punt returner, the punter and played some DE. He had a sack that knocked Milford’s QB out for a bit, then he got held out of desperation a couple times.
As the punter, he executed a fake punt from about the 45 on 4th and 7 or 8. He made a couple spin moves and trucked into the end zone. That made it 21-7 Fairfield, they eventually led 35-7 but actually lost 39-35. Admittedly we left before game was over, ugh.
Was very impressed with the young man. He seemed like a good teammate and was clearly an athletic freak.
