sorry about all the football stories this morning but I tired of drinking and political stories and thought some of you might want to talk football.

Anyway, a very hot day in SoCal (on rain or snow) so it's beach time.

Huntingtlon Beach water was 67. Going whale watching Tuesday

anyone need a lift? There's so much sea life it's impossible to describe. We found dolphins maybe 300 yards wide and my friend took multiple pictures. It wasn't until a few days later that we discovered two whales in the group and that was about 2 miles off HB. So much for eagle eyes.

btw, check out the Freep to see how JH has developed a new approach to recruiting. I got tired of posting multiple JH stories yesterday. Entertaining to say the least.

We need the snow and rain.

67 seems crazy warm for the water temp in early spring .......

Santa Monica water temp was 62 the last time I was in SoCal, and that was early August 2013. God, you guys do need some rain, hope you get it. Too bad you can't have all our rain --- Ohio River today is cresting at its highest level in 18 years. Could the wildfire threat again get as high as it was in 2003 (or 2007)?

Loved the wildlife sightings one can do out there. Sea otters, sea lions (God they smell like $hit), whales, dolphins. I've at least thought about moving out to California (Monterey to San Francisco corridor), doubt I'll ever do it, but it is beautiful country.
