Recently saw replay of Peters to Evans TD vs Rutgers from last season. Remembering feeling guardedly hopeful that perhaps the offense was starting to click and the program was making strides. Only to suffer through disheartening disappointing performances vs Whisky, OSU, bowl loss, long discouraging offseason. Dark days.
Look at how far we have come! At the end of last season, or even a month ago, I really couldn’t foresee the energy, improvement, and domination witnessed in the last three game. The way that we convincingly exorcised Sparty in EL, and took UW and PSU to the freaking woodshed.. My football heart is so happy and proud.
After everything that we have endured over the past decade.. I struggle to find the words. Thank you to our coaching staff, players, alumni, athletic department, mods, Fort community.
