Harbaugh and the offensive coaches obviously realize we cannot run the ball. Against both Maryland and IU, I believe the two worst run defenses we faced in the big ten, we did jack.

Their use of misdirection, Peppers, Peppers as a decoy, and the screen game basically served as a pseudo running game. It was a great example of adjusting to mask our #1 deficiency.

or the flipside is that after watching opponents Rutgers also plugged the "box" kinda like Bama did to LSU last nite. So when the box is stacked you can do several things
1) pass down the middle (UM did)
2) screens (UM did)
3) go outside (UM did)

I think JH learned from the MSU game that it's okay to pass and pass. The object of the game is to score points. UM did.
