Seeing some UM fans thinking he should have waited for a better job.
He's got a Power 5 gig at age 37.....That seems good.

No brainer for him to leave though he likely could have gotten a better job next year. I don't buy the BS that you rarely get a Power 5 gig without HC experience. Narduzzi to Pitt, Kirby Smart to Georgia. You could argue that both of them had better gigs then Durkin to Maryland.
Agree with some other poster though - keeping CP on with JH would be key otherwise we may be in trouble with the NJ pipeline we have built and we may see some key players leave for Maryland or other schools.

Wow, this is bad news. I hope the defense still performs at the same level without him.
I think he should have waited for something else. It's not just that it's Maryland but you also have to play Dantonio, Meyer, and Harbaugh every year. That's a tough gig for anybody.
