I think the odds of Durkin coming back next year is low the odds of him back in 2017 is pretty much zero. He was a HC candidate last year but decided to come to Michigan. Hopefully JH can convince him to stay.

Do not call me that. I hate MSU so much and if we are inferior in major athletics, its hard to not be unhappy. Yes with Harbaugh we will get there, but unless we are better than MSU in football 2 out of every 3 years, then its not good especially given that basketball has gone back to the old ways. Being equal to MSU in football will not be good enough (we must pass them and be super great while MSU is only good under Dantonio) with basketball going to back to the way it was prior to 2012 where we are an afterthought and MSU was an annual Final Four Contender.

Its not a given Durkin will get the Maryland gig since it appears they are interviewing other candidates. That being said, I would have thought Harbaugh would have asked for at least a two year commitment before entertaining new jobs.
