It is unbelievable that we can see a game like we saw yesterday, an incredibly well played defensive game, albeit against a very one dimensional team, and yet there was still a small level of criticism.
By my view they played close to flawless football, unless one expects Brown and company to hold every opponent to 10 first downs or less, 150 yards and less, and 7 points or less every game.
Another thing to consider. Our opponents starting filed position, for two reasons has been far, far better this year than it was last year, yet these young inexperienced defense is still holding their ground.
Due to such poor offensive production, we are punting more, punting from deeper in our territory, holding the ball less, and punting far, far worse than last year. All pointing to making it more difficult for this defense to do what they are doing regardless of opponent, yet they are.
Lets hope they can carry us a bit longer.
