Defense will be stingy and I think the offense is considerably better than last year.

Shea is the real deal. 67% completions on 30 attempts with 227 yards isn’t bad at all for his first game here considering it was a road game against a rival too. Harbaugh is a QB guy and will get Shea to limit the TOs.

Offense was actually able to move the ball fairly well but just now needs to convert on key plays. We seemed to target Gentry a few times in those situations but I think Gentry looks like a better player than he actually is. Needs to be able create a little more separation to truly be effective. Grant Perry used to be a good option on third and mediums but he doesn’t seem targeted as often lately.

I think we will see this team get better and better every week barring any unforeseen circumstances and could start clicking like we did with Harbaugh in year 1.

Let’s not abandon the FB dive and screen plays that seem to be the only plays that have worked well for Harbaugh here every single year.
