• he’s busted his ass for this team, by all accounts. He’s a leader and the guys love him
• he didn’t pout when he came out of the game and when Cade went off. That alone will always make me want to root for him.
Here comes the jerk part. If he’s an Adonis with the football in his hands, why haven’t we coached the kid better? One could argue that a HS coach in Nevada has had more to do with Cade’s good play than any of our coaches. I mean the kid just sees things so much better out there. The throw to CuJo down the middle? Joe never would’ve seen that. Why not? Ok, fire away and my exhausted late night impressions...
