The offensive woes aren’t going away, they’re getting worse. If this staff doesn’t do something more radical to shake things up or bust out of whatever funk they’re in, the PSU and OSU games will play out just like last night but with drastically worse results.

Jimmy is the head coach and he bears the lion’s share of the responsibility for the predicament we are in.

Coach needs to look hard at Drevno and assess if he can really get the job done. Either he helps his friend by clarifying his role (handing OL to Frey), and letting him work full time on building out the manball offense of our dream or he needs to let him go. We have a large data set and the worsening numbers indicate more than just on field performance as the culprit. Drevno is the one constant here.
It’s a mystery to me how Jimmy can have the good judgement to put together such an awesome defensive staff, but not replicate it on the offense.

Ask yourself why we need to continue to have passing game coordinators (first Fisch and now Pep). Is it because Drevno doesn’t know how to create a passing attack? If so, that’s concerning, because your OC should be able to do this himself and even more so, the passing game stinks.

We need a dedicated WR coach. Not sure what’s happening here. If I’m mistaken and Pep took over this position group after Dougherty left, then my apologies. I’m not seeing progress here with the group. Stone hands, poor route running and very little on field awareness to help out the qb.
