We got this far with an aggressive defense and a limited but imaginative offense.

Today our defense was passive and the play calling on offense was at a grade school level.

Yet we were winning 23-21 with 10 seconds left and a botched punt GAVE Michigan State their 7th victory. The needed a MIRACLE to win the game and they received one. The defense was outstanding against a good offensive team with a very good QB. Harbaugh and this staff took a team that was 5-7 last year and was 10 seconds from being 6-1. Michigan will finish the regular season with 9 or 10 wins this year and play in a great bowl and will most likely win the bowl. MSU needs to celebrate because the rivalry will begin to tilt the other way. Just imagine what Michigan will look like with Harbaugh's recruiting classes coming in. They were better today than a veteran team that has been winning for 8 years and Harbaugh beat them with 6 months of practice with the same players MSU beat down last year. A freak play that was a MIRACLE. Don't be surprised to MSU win it this year. Miracles like this happen for teams that win national championships.

You are an idiot. I'm thinking a lot of the probs you talk about was caused by a good msu team.

UM did everything to win but field a snap. Someone here unwisely suggested that Baxter lost on special teams, but this was the only "loss" the entire gane

I don't know what Harbaugh said in that last timeout, but if he _didn't_ tell the punter to just fall on a bobbled snap, most of the loss falls on his shoulders. I really like Jim Harbaugh, but he screwed the pooch here.

Harbaugh has a history of struggling in big games. That does suck though. Really wanted to see our defense have a shot at Rudock. I can't imagine how bad he would play against Iowa's defense.

Harbaugh is the best Coach around. Struggles in big games? Ridiculous.
Iowa defense doesn't compare to MSU. Now go back to the Iowa site
