For better or worse...
- PSU's last offensive play call reminded me of Gattis' third down play call at MSU - why go for all of it right there with that much time on the clock and all the timeouts AND not throwing it to your best player.
- Two trick plays out of the kicking game? Strange, especially when you are at the two yard line for one of them
- Giving up the first down on the fake kick after you take a timeout, that seems like poor coaching to me
- Moore is playing a lot and seems to be in the right spot - so nice to see for a freshman
- Haskins abilities to be patient and squeeze an extra yard or more out of every run is so nice to see
- Stepping up and making plays was the difference - didn't happen at MSU but did happen at Nebraska and at PSU
- I think we did not cover Dotson all that well, especially in the second half, but PSU had no time to go down field either. We will face two or three Dotson or better players against OSU
- We were fortunate that Clifford missed a couple passes and a few were dropped, we all know that feeling
- A second half adjustment leading to a score on the opening drive, what a relief
- The second TD pass to Wilson seems like there was a screw up with he and Johnson in the same place
- Other team screwing up on a crossing route - see the same feeling as dropped passes
- The field seemed like a sanded mess - Edwards and Henning both slipped - perhaps the wet conditions added to it
