I was completely dumbfounded when during Edwin Jackson's brilliant pitching performance on Sunday Allen stated that there are only 4 starting African American pitchers in major league baseball today and two of them are tigers. (Willis and Jackson) I know baseball's popularity is down within the AA community but I had no idea it had fallen to this level. It's just hard for me to believe this when considering all the great AA pitchers that have played in the major leagues.
