Yes, he's been given his official release. How you doing man?Is it official that he is now off of the roster?
Made it home last night and as I am a high school teacher, I have missed the entire week of school. I took my Holocaust class to the Holocaust Museum in DC two weeks ago and someone managed to get a massive staph infection on my nose which had spread to my eyes. I tried oral antibiotics to no avail and was hospitalized for 3 days. I am pretty much out of the woods but finishing off the last of the oral antibiotics by Saturday. Got my fingers crossed it is almost over. I can't believe that happened to me. The pain is indescribable and the swelling enormous. No swelling anymore except the tip of my nose. Plan to take it easy this weekend. Thanks for asking, Staph is very very dangerous and I was unlucky enough to catch an infection and the nose is dangerous because of the proximity to the brain which can cause Meningitis. Scary thing when you don't respond to 5 different antibiotics and you have to be given the heavy duty stuff through IV. I am super healthy too.
That's horrible friend, I'm familiar with staph infections, I had a good friend get one following an operation and she was laid out for weeks in the hospital, very serious and very life-threatening. It's amazing we have the medical resources available to us to tackle those kind of challenges that just years ago probably would have killed you. Praying tonight for good rest, full recovery, and new strength to lead those HS students with an enthusiasm unknown to man!Made it home last night and as I am a high school teacher, I have missed the entire week of school.
