Kid was a walking turnover in 1987, and subsequently lost the job to Michael Taylor in '88, but when Taylor went down with a season ending injury, Brown was outstanding in some big games including OSU and USC. Hearing the news that Wilton is out at least until Minnesota or Maryland means that John has the keys. No question, he looked tentative a year ago against IU. Obviously, he was much more effective against Purdue. This is Year 3 for him under Harbaugh's tutelage. I'd like to think we'd get a Demetrius Brown-type performance when he subbed for Taylor. John has a chance to leave a legacy. Let it rip kid!
