Before I start, I just want to point out that sometime post January you will hear from both Michnitlion and RM about how JH and his staff are screwing kids over.
I fully expect that a couple players like Kurt Taylor, Ben Mason, and Woods will likely be told to keep looking elsewhere because this is going to be a special class with quite a bit of talent. Unless you are an Alabama or OSU commit (in which case their recent success in the NFL speaks for itself), you come to Michigan and you see what JH is doing and building, it's hard not to want to be a part of that - oh and you get a 10x better education (unless you opt for Stanford). JH is doing this by simply outworking every single coach out there - not being lazy. Doing pickups at midnight, teaching kids how to play football, etc. I love what he brings to the table - regardless of the results. A kid from Ole Miss just decommited this morning after seeing MIchigan and I expect we may see a couple more do the same - the IU and Maryland games will be key - if we can absolutely demolish those teams, we will start to see a lot more recruits. This is going to be a special recruiting class!
I also expect that players like Harris, Morris, and maybe even Malzone and Wagner may be asked to leave to open up more room. Add the number of scholarships JH will likely open with the fact that we may likely see 10 players drafted this year (Butt, Wormley, Peppers, Chesson, Darboh, Kalis, Taco, Lewis, Glasgow, maybe Deveon Smith, etc) and you can't but not be super excited about what this program will look like consistently starting in 2018 and beyond.
On a side note, I expect this Jeter kid to likely not end up with Michigan. The first reason he gave was that ND is 2-5...generally when kids think that way versus thinking about what is being built there, etc they are generally high maintenance in my mind. I think he ends up elsewhere. My 2 cents.
