I usually tailgate on either golf course. But weather might make tailgating (period) a game-time decision altogether, whether on the course or elsewhere. Got friends coming in from out of town and if it's calling for rain, I'm considering just going into downtown Ann Arbor somewhere for food/ginger ales... then head to the game. I've never done this before (always have tailgated) so:
Question 1 - if we do this (rather than tailgate somewhere), is there free parking on streets anywhere east of Chrysler or west of Main where we could park and walk to the stadium within a reasonable distance...? Or can you not park on streets and you have to pay for a lot.
Question 2 - apparently it is parents weekend. Does crummy weather + parents weekend mean we better hit somewhere in downtown AA extra early...?
Question 3 - any suggestions on some good bars/restaurants to hit for a party of 7? Looking for casual grill/TV's/beer kind of place.
