Milton threw 51 times ..... and we created ZERO turnovers after Sparty had 7 last week . Both are not good signs for us in a game. ANY game. Finally as so many of us are pissed , depressed , angry and cannot believe Sparty kicked our ass after Rutgers , hopefully we learned that this game week to week totally changes . I read so many posts saying Sparty was trash , we would roll them by 45-50 and it wouldn’t be a game. We have a 1st year QB and more often than not teams struggle week to week with young QB’s learning as they go . We knew both last year and again this year our D tackles were not very good , and our corners were not very good at all . Our O Line was new. All of this is what we saw today. Did we think it would be this bad ? Hell no. Last weeks game made us believe that we could hide these things. Maryland last night maybe showed us how bad Minny is and MAYBE we came out of that game thinking we were a lot better then we are. Sure looked like that today.
As a few have pointed out , this may be the worst loss we have seen in many years for. Michigan team , let alone a Harbaugh team. This could take a few games to forget for this team , and the schedule doesn’t give them any gifts near term. I think we are about to find out how this team will do this year. This is gonna be a tough pill to swallow for this young team. They got punched in the face by their in state rival that is an inferior team on paper. But sadly we are in a familiar position. Let’s hope they can win a couple games in a hurry.
