Iowa had a miraculous comeback from 15-points down in 3Q to beat Nebraska 28-21. They scored on a blocked punt, two FG and a safety.
So Nebraska lost 9 straight and won’t go to a bowl for the fifth straight year. Maybe this will serve to lessen the hubris of their easy-to-dislike coach, Scott Frost.
Its been awhile since Frost and his mother publicly and loudly lobbied for Nebraska to be voted national champion, preventing Michigan from being sole holder of the title in 1997. I said I’d never forgive him for that… and I won’t. Nine straight and a cold winter out there among the piles of cow shit couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
