My wife was scrapbooking the other day and we were looking at our list of concerts that we went to last year (we miss this the most, btw). One of the concerts was Jeff Beck. I recalled something that I found strange at the time and thought that I would ask everyone here. Jeff didn't address the crowd one time the entire concert. We never heard him speak, at all. Not a "Thanks for coming out" or a "This next song...". Nothing. His guitar playing was fantastic, but I don't remember ever being at another concert where the main act, so to speak, never engaged with the crowd at all. Has this ever happened to any of you?
