I was listening to Andy Staples interview Bob Richey yesterday. Furman is undefeated and has beaten Villanova and Loyola-Chicago. Staples made a comment that “Hey you guys should schedule Michigan and Kansas so you can beat all 4 teams from last years final four.” Bob Richey laughed and said “We will stick with what we have, I have watched enough Michigan games this year to know that wouldn’t be in our best interest. I want no part of that team or John Beilein.”
Just thought it was pretty cool to hear a college coach having a pretty good season of his own make an emphatic comment about how great this team is.
