I have never been to a comic convention before and my 8th grade daughter is a huge fan of the Marvel Films and has convinced me to take her to an upcoming comic convention in Chicago (http://www.aceuniverse.com/events/midwest.html). She is a huge fan of the Loki character and is planning on attending in a Loki costume and we have purchased a ticket for her to get a signature from the actor who plays Loki in the films. I am curious if I just go along as Dad will I stand out for not being in a costume? Anyone with experience attending this kind of event have advice? I did read a lot of marvel comics back in the early 80s and I have enjoyed the marvel films I have seen but I really don't know what to expect and thought I would turn to this board for tips. Thanks for any suggestions you have to share.
