Colorado just rolled 5-1 (likely not too great) ASU...

I attended the ASU @ Colorado game Saturday evening. Was in Denver Friday & Saturday and made the drive up to Boulder.

Colorado is good, no doubt about it. Lost to USC, but conference road games are tough, and they were always destined to lose a few games in the Pac-12 grind. But Colorado: they can score --- a lot!

Folsom Field is a pretty cool venue to see a game. This should definitely be on the list of college football fans, stadiums to visit. The 6 PM MT start was perfect, seeing the sunset over the FlatIrons.

Their starting QB is finally back. With him I expect they could have beaten USC.

Played horribly against USC. Team read their press clippings and got complacent. A revitalized USC team gave them the wake up message. USC is very good right now with Darnold and a new offensive scheme. Would not have beaten CU even the week before that. Just bad timing with a big crowd for parents weekend and a sleep walking CU team. Even with the backup QB, we should have beaten them. With Sefo, we would have played much better and obviously beaten them anyway, but you play with the deck of cards you have. The Utah game will be for the south title. We'll see where we finish after that one. CU has 3 of the next 4 at home with sellouts expected in all of them (and very rowdy crowds to boot).
