For the very FIRST time I’m starting to feel like the end may be near for Coach. I’m not saying HOW it may end just that it feels like it IS ending. It’s not one specific thing just a collection of a few. But the biggest one is the contract. IF things WEREN’T coming to an end or even MAYBE coming to an end, there’d be ZERO contract “issue”. The longer it drags on (and IF the loses pile up this year), you’ll see those ‘21 - ‘22 classes just get GUTTED. Teams will negatively recruit Michigan to hell and back over that and RIGHTFULLY SO!
it just seems like it’s always been SOMETHING during Coach’s tenure preventing us from putting it all together. Now that it feels like we got the offense we need coupled with the “D” that we’ve had and finally been recruiting at a very high and consistent level - we’ve got a “lame duck” coach who wants “to go to the NFL” (according to every other recruiter). And bottom line folks - ANY OTHER premier school out there would NOT let this hang over the team like this.....unless there was a reason.....
And don’t even feed me that “COVID19” bull crap. You think Clemson would let Coach Dabo get within ONE YEAR of walkin to the open market cuz of “COVID19 cut backs”?
No. No they wouldn’t.
