I remember when you warned everyone on this board that we would regret wanting Lloyd Carr gone. I was a very vocal opponent of Carr, especially in his final years.

In retrospect, though, I certainly long for those days now. At the very least, Michigan had an identity, had a passion for the game that started at the top, and at the very least competed with Michigan State and Penn State and had a puncher's chance against Ohio State.

What I saw yesterday was a disorganized, listless, undisciplined effort that required the 3rd largest comeback in Michigan history to beat a team that got embarrassed by Duke and lost to Akron at home. This as a backdrop to a gutsy comeback win by Ohio State in a game that was played at an elite level.

It starts at the top. This program is a reflection of a listless, disorganized and scattered head coach. A team as a true reflection of its head coach.

Frankly, this program is stagnant, stale and unorganized. Nowhere near what was expected when Harbaugh was hired. Hope can no longer be sold. Reality is, Harbaugh is here as long as he wants and the notion that Michigan will consistently level the field with Ohio State or Penn State is not a reality.

So, CB, I was wrong. Really wrong. I miss Lloyd Carr. Can we get him back??
